faces-urbanwalls-02-01-01.1.jpgIn one sentence, how would you describe your business?

I would describe my business as a fresh, modern and cozy.

If your business were a person, who would they be - what human characteristics would they hold?

If my business was a person I like to think it would be someone like me. Inviting and comfortable, consistent yet exciting and always reliable.

In three words, how would you describe yourself?

Kind, honest, loyal.

In one word, how would you describe your personal designs style?

If you could leave one piece of advice too future generations, what would it be?

I would say to simply be kind, there will always time for everything else, but who you are and how you treat people and the world around you matters.

Who do you find most inspiring for new ideas, trends, styles?

It will probably come as no surprise that I am always inspired by Studio McGee and how Shea puts her own twist on design!

Who are your favourite bloggers, stylists, social accounts to follow?

Well I love following Emily Henderson and Studio McGee for design inspiration, I adore Jillian Harris and her whole brand experience and how real she is on Instagram. l also love Julia Engel over on Gal Meets Glam, she is just so feminine and has lovely style.

What is your favourite personal or household item to splurge on?

I love having a great purse for day to day life so I don’t mind investing a bit in that. And for the home it would for sure be great bedding! Because sleep is so important and who doesn’t want to crawl into soft sheets at the end of the day!

If you could change it at the blink of an eye, what crazy colour would you paint your walls?

This is so funny to me because I am such a neutral loving girl however I would love a blush pink wall, that feels bold to me!

If you were stranded on a desert island, what one item would you bring with you?

Would it be wrong if I said quinoa? Because I feel like the worst thing about being stranded on an island would be getting super hangry.

If you didn’t need to work around existing decor, what decal would you create for yourself and why?

I would love to create a decal that looked like a textured wall treatment. It would be so much easier to install haha.

What drew you to the decal you’re featuring on your walls at the moment?

I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and go with a bit of colour. As soon as I saw these watercolored tangerines and greens I knew they would just be the perfect mix of colour and pattern yet they still feel classic and mature.
